“The man known as America’s pastor was among those targeted by the Internal Revenue Service after the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association ran newspaper advertisements promoting traditional marriage and biblical values, according to a letter his son wrote to President Obama. “I am bringing this to your attention because I believe that someone in the Administration was targeting and attempting to intimidate us,” wrote Franklin Graham in his letter and shared with Fox News. “This is morally wrong and unethical – indeed some would call it ‘un-American.’” – Todd Starnes

“Franklin Graham: IRS targeted us, too” – Politico’s article on Billy Graham/IRS controversy. (Politico)

“Mr. President, the IRS has already publicly acknowledged it operated in a less than neutral and non-partisan way,” Graham wrote. “We also now know that the target of their improper actions was much wider than political or Tea Party organizations. Will you take some immediate action to reassure Americans we are not in a new chapter of American history – repressive government rule?” – Excerpt from letter by Franklin Graham to President Barack Obama

2. “Students Speak Out Against the ‘Hookup Culture'” – Princeton students are starting to speak out against the on campus “hookup culture’. (CBN News)

“That pain reaches beyond Princeton’s campus. (Donna) Freitas tackles the subject in her most recent book, The End of Sex: How Hookup Culture is Leaving a Generation Unhappy, Sexually Unfulfilled and Confused About Intimacy. “To hear so many students, either really unhappy or incredibly ambivalent [about] their sexual experiences in college is depressing to me,” Freitas said. Freitas surveyed more than 2,000 college students across the country. Forty-one percent of those students used words like “regretful,” “miserable,” “disgusted,” “ashamed,” “duped” and “abused” to describe their hookup experience. Twenty-three percent of them expressed ambivalence. From that study, the author concluded many of the students felt alone and unsure of how to change the culture.” – Efrem Graham

  2. This is the society we live in today…that a well respected pastor who has served millions of people worldwide including many U.S. presidents and world leaders with biblical teachings and insights…who after printing ads in North Carolina upholding traditional marriage would be targeted by the IRS with full knowledge by the president and his administration…this a 92-year old pastor–‘America’s Pastor’ to be investigated in this manner is an ‘in your face’ blatant violation of the constitution regarding freedom of religion and freedom of speech, and will only serve as a front runner to the decline of all the freedoms we the people of these United States have taken for granted since the onset. Under the current circumstances, our founding fathers would also be under investigation if subjected under the same administration. We are rapidly becoming a nation ruled by government of tyranny. Wake up America before the nightmare becomes permanent!
